Merry Christmas Everyone

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas. Don’t forget the little ones that perhaps are not as fortunate as our children are, and find out how and where you can help.

Christmas is for Children, and there are many in Houston without. There is a charitable organization orphanage in Laporte by the name of the Boysandgirlsharbor.com. They will happily take anything they can get for contributions. Tim .Gratzer@cbsradio.com for assistance. You can also contact joann.perez@cbsradio.com & andrew.sosniak@cbsradio.com.

They are looked over frequently, due to larger organizations.

How we waste time

Do any of us really realize how many moments of our life we waste about worrying about things that we have no control over? How many of those minutes turn into hours and then days and then months, over a lifetime that we just throw away.

I just turned 70 years old, and began reflecting how I spent my life in the past. Most of it was worrying about people who chose to do what they were doing, and my worrying about it didn’t ever change them, or their thoughts about how they were living.

Steve Jobs said it best: Life is so very, very short, don’t spend one moment of it living someone else’s.

I have decided to quit worrying about the way people are living their lives, family or friends. I probably won’t even be around to see the final result, so why would I?

Life is so much more fun, when you don’t carry around other people’s garbage. Heck I can barely carry around my own. and sometimes when garbage day comes, I forget to let go of mine.

So my word to you all , is that when you start to think you can solve someone else’s problems, think about how hard it is to solve your own.

Then take those minutes that you would have thought about it, and do something that enlightens your soul. Something that conributes to your life, for when you leave you are the only one you will take with you.

You are important, never forget that.

Have a great week.

Halloween and Radio

Hey everyone, I will be on Hot 95.7 again 7:00 a.m. Friday October 31, to scare all of you goblins….heheh.

Winter is almost here, and how wonderful it is. I wanted to reflect on something that I would like for everyone to think about. We cannot mend the world, we can’t change people, and we shouldn’t worry. Destiny is for us all, God didn’t just put us here to drop us….Always remember each and everyone of you have a purpose here.

Find your purpose and you will find out who you are. We spend so much time living everyone else’s life, we forget that with each click of the clock, we are giving away precious time.

Don’t try to put Band Aids over other people’s cuts. It isn’t your job, it is God’s job…and sometimes he makes us bleed to get our attention.

Be the wonderful light each of us are, and I like to remember the quote from Mark Twain:

I am created in the image of God,I don’t look so much like him, so as not to confuse anyone into thinking I am him.

That says it all, Be the person you were meant to be, not the person people think you should be.

Have a Happy Halloween.

Good morning

Well finally I am in here blogging. I have changed my website which I am sure all of you have found by now….But I couldn’t get into the blogging, thanks to my friend Amy, I am finally here.

So the winter days are coming, In Texas we put our winter clothes and summer clothes together, because one day it is winter and one day it is summer. I actually went into the pool yesterday, it was a bit chilly, but not bad once you quit turning blue and shivering.

Great Exercise, and cold water is supposed to boost your immune system.
This is going to be short, as this is the first time I blogged.

Halloween is coming and all of the litle ghost and gobblins are going to be out and about, Please be careful as you drive down the neighborhood streets.

This is the beginning of a wonderful season, and it is going to be a good ending of 2014. Keep tuning in as I will be posting my prediions for 2015.
